Norma E. Clear was born in Stroh, Indiana, May 23, 1906. Norma was held in the arms of her family and special caregiver, Neva Dressler, Charlie and Janice Richards, at her home, until she entered the Kingdom of Heaven on September 11, 2003. Her life was a testimony to God and to the people around her as she maintained her principles and sense of humor throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray M. Clear in 1943 and Norma is survived by her loving family: two daughters, Calve R. Libby and husband Rodney, Dee C. Patterson and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Dana R. Libby and wife Juanita, Herman J. Libby and wife Kay, Ronald W. Patterson and wife Wanda, Ra N. Patterson and wife JoElla; great grandchildren, Derek Libby, Daryl Libby, Dallas Libby, Londo Johnson, Matthew Libby, Kristin Libby, Kurt Patterson and Kyle Patterson; four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces nephews and dear friends who loved and will miss her. All services were held in Troy, Michigan. In lieu of flowers the family would request cards or memorial contributions in Norma’s name to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches, 6209 Hendrix Rd. NE.
