Tom Ruiz died Tuesday, September 16, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 67. Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by Freddy Ruiz. He was a great father who will be truly missed. Mr. Ruiz is survived by his wife, Mary Ruiz; sons, Peter Ruiz and wife, Cynthia, Antonio Ruiz, Johnny Ruiz and Billy Ruiz; brother, Juan Ruiz; sisters, Frances Garcia and Ruth Romero; grandsons, Thomas Ruiz and Michael Saiz; his only aunt, Aunt Ferro; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Mr. Ruiz will be held on Friday, September 19, 2003 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Damacio Moya, Chris Moya, Anthony Romero, Ricky Garcia, Mike Saiz and Thomas Ruiz. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Villanueva and Leo Romero. A Rosary for Mr. Ruiz will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124.
