Albino Otero, age 81, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Wednesday, September 17, 2003. Albino was born in Tajique, NM; and was a resident of Los Ranchos. He was preceded in death by two sons, Demecio and Charlie Otero; and a grandson, Joseph. Albino is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Otero of the family home; his children, Nestor Otero and wife Barbara, Frank Otero and wife Liz, Bernie Otero and wife Elaine, Albino Otero, Jr. and wife Maria, Annie Otero, Ida Rodarte and husband Larry, Grace Otero and Rick Perea, Mable Barela and husband Mario, Eva Padilla and husband Michael, Merlene Garcia, Wanda Otero, and Robbyn Moya and husband Anthony; his precious grandchildren, Jeremy, Yvette, Kathy, Felicia, Andrea, Dominic, April, Matthew, Mark, Michael, Jerome, Amy, Adrian, Jennifer, Ashley, Anthony, Jr., and Brittnay; his great-grandchildren, William, Sara, Tara, Kristina, Joshua and Emilia. Also surviving are one brother Ruben Otero and wife Barbara; four sisters, Eslinda Sanchez, Aurora Chavez and husband Joe, Bessie Aragon, Lugi Chavez; and many more other relatives and friends. Albino will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church; where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeremy, Matthew, Michael, Dominic, Adrian and Anthony, Jr. Funeral Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
