Monsignor Peter J. Hill. "He deserves everything and anything we can give him," said the Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima, a lifelong friend of Father Peter's who organized the Memorial Service which took place on August 23, 2003. We would like to thank everyone who made this come true, Fr. Eggert; the many other friends who helped us celebrate Fr. Peter's resurrection, who shared their memories and supported us with their loving presence at the time of our loss; the Fatima Choir for their gift of time and their moving performance; the 21 brother priests of Peter's who joined our celebration, the Women's Guild for the sumptuous repast they prepared with love and skill; the Albuquerque Journal and New Mexican newspapers for publishing the story of Peter's life; the Fatima office staff and parishioners who helped organize this event; those who cared for Peter during the final years of his great need, especially Traudl, Maurice, Sandy and Audrey; everyone who contributed to this celebration of Peter who touched our lives and does so today in entirely new ways.
