Armolita T. Herrera age 75, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savoir, Friday, September 12, 2003, while surrounded by her loving family. Armolita was born in La Jara, NM and was a resident of Cuba, N.M. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Celeso Montoya and Arneldo Trujillo; sisters, Bernice and Ruth Trujillo. Armolita is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Alberto Herrera of the family home; her precious son, Amadeo Herrera and wife Cathy of Cuba, NM; one grandsdon, Amadeo B. Herrera of Cuba, NM; granddaughters, Armolita and April Herrrera both of Cuba, NM, and Geri Ann Castillo of Camp Penleton, CA; step-grandchildren, Jessica Haggerty, Johnaton Aragon both of Albuquerque, Merced Aragon and Michael Aragon both of Farmington, NM; sisters, Sylvia Cordova of La Jara, NM, Celcia Sanchez and husband Antonio of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Nestorita Montoya of Cuba, NM; and many other family members and friends. Armolita will be greatly missed by her loving family. Armolita will lie in state Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM; where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. also at the church, directly followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santo Nino Cemetery in La Jara, NM. Casket bearers will be Apraicio Herrera, Sr., Richard Velarde, Jr., Amadeo B. Herrera, Cathy Lovato, Ramona Lyon, and Steve Herrera.
