Obituary for KING

Mary Elizabeth King, born in Alberta, December 12, 1912, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2003 in Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by her brother, William F. King and wife, Monnie of Albuquerque; Sister; Rebecca Ivie of Burleson, TX; nephew, John Ivie of Colorado Springs, CO; and many other nieces and nephews. Miss King was a resident of Albuquerque from 1925 until 1999, when she moved to Colorado. She attended high school in Albuquerque, and then attended Kellerher School of Commerce. Miss King was a charter member of Faith Chapel. She then joined Faith Tabernacle in 1931. At a later date Faith Tabernacle became Faith Chapel. Miss King taught Sunday School for many years. She wrote a complete history of Faith Chapel. Miss King worked at many different jobs here in Albuquerque, including serving as a bookkeeper for Faith Chapel, before retiring to Colorado. Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Faith Chapel, 1726 Girard NE, with Larry King officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
