Ruth P. Bennett, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998, with her family around her at home. She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. George Bennett, USAF Ret., of Albuquerque; daughter, Deborah Bennett of Espanola; son, George Bennett Jr. and wife, Shauna of Heber City, UT; grandson, Ian Bennett; and granddaughters, Anna and Felicia Bennett, all of Heber City, UT; and brother, George Poimboeuf and wife, Lou of West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Bennett was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held Friday, 12:00 noon, at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE, with Rev. Charles E. Price officiating. Private interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
