Mary Elizabeth Downey Gomez, born January 11, 1954, mother of Katherine Alicia Gomez, Alanna Marie Gomez and Jaime Arturo Gomez, died March 17, 1998. Manager of Special Accounts for Kabana Jewelry Company of Albuquerque, she was a graduate of Ursulin College of Cleveland, Ohio. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Downey of Orlando, FL; and 11 brothers and sisters. Wake and Rosary will be Friday, March 20, 1998, 7:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday, March 21, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca, Celebrant.
