Rosie Candelaria, 76, passed away on March 16, 1998 in Albuquerque. She was born in La Madera, NM and was a member of San Antonio de Las Huertas. She was preceded in death by her father, Dominic Garbagni; mother, Manuelita Garbagni; brother, Mike Garbagni. She is survived by her son, Andrew Candelaria and girlfriend, Martha Trujillo of Albuquerque; brother, Johnnie Garbagni and wife, Dioly of Albuquerque; brother, Raymond Garbagni and wife, Marcela of Albuquerque; sister, Esquipula (Skippy) Garbagni of Albuquerque; sister, Mary Valtierra of Albuquerque; sister, Silvia Garbagni of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Alexandra Candelaria of Albuquerque; grandson, Andrew Candelaria Jr. of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 1998 at the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 21, 1998, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Robert Valtierra, Manuel Garbagni, Walter Candelaria, Leroy Gonzales, Johnnie Garbagni Jr., Edward Chavez, and Dale Candelaria.
