Mrs. Theresa Saavedra died Saturday in Albuquerque at the age of 64. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother and she will be remembered for her love of playing bingo. Mrs. Saavedra is survived by her husband, Gilbert Saavedra; sons, Chris Saavedra, Gilbert Saavedra, Bernie Loranca, and Raymond Saavedra; daughters, Frances Sanchez and Theresa Becerra; brother, Bobby Narvaiz; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Saavedra will be held on Wednesday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Sanchez, Bobby Narvaiz, Luciano Saavedra, Felix Sanchez, Steve Garcia and Johnny Ray Saavedra. A Rosary for Mrs. Saavedra will be recited on Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the St. Francis Church. Arrangements by the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW.
