Adelida Lola Valencia, 74, a lifetime a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 1998. Lola was born March 24, 1924, the daughter of Pablo and Gregacienda Valdez Vigil in Santa Fe, NM. She had been in the Dry Cleaning business before retiring. Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. Valencia in 1995. She is survived by two children, Josie Winters and husband, Paul, and Paul Valencia and wife, Mary, all of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held today, Friday, October 9, 1998, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., in Rio Rancho, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10, 1998, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, with Fr. William McCarren as the Celebrant. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
