Charles (Chuck) Garnjost passed away on October 6, after a courageous battle with ALS. He was born on September 17,1933, in Oakland, CA. He is survived by his wife, BJ; daughter, Kathy Sallee and husband, Steve; and two grandsons, Rick and Matt of Albuquerque and daughter, Pam Bortolussi and husband, Ron of Fremont, CA; and sister, Esther Evers and husband, Don of Pleasanton, CA. Chuck was a resident of Albuquerque from 1971-1976 when he was a Production Control Manager for Singer Business Machines. Chuck and BJ celebrated 42 years of marriage and have fond memories of camping, biking, traveling and bird-watching together. A memorial service celebrating Chuck's life will take place at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE on Friday, October 9 at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Fred Dorisse officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association, 21021 Ventura Blvd., Suie 321, Woodland Hills, CA 91364.
