Mr. Jose Moraga died Wednesday in Albuquerque at the age of 97. Mr. Moraga is survived by his daughter, Dolores Smetak; grandchildren, Antonio Montoya and wife, Lynn, Reyes Montoya and wife, Linda, Louella Montoya, Beatrice Purcella and husband, Martina, Rick Smetak and wife, Sandy, Linda Decker and husband, Ray, Amy Dragovich, and Tracy Tuney and husband, Scott; 21 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Moraga will be held on Monday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Purcella Jr., Carlos Purcella, Tony Montoya, Ray Montoya, Martin Purcella Sr., and Michael Montoya. Visitation for Mr. Moraga will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400-3rd St SW.
