Cliffie Hughes-Gossett, 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died Wednesday, August 26, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Bernice Ralston of Bernalillo; son, William Breeze and wife, Jackie of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Dorothy Riffe of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Cliffie was known by everyone as"Nana." She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bernalillo Ward. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Bishop Brad Greer, presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
