Obituary for Webb

Robert James Webb went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 20, 1998 of heart and lung disease with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Shirley Francl Webb; his loving daughter, Penny Webb Wagner; his endeared son-in-law Steven; his grandchildren, Melanie Rose and Jay Robert Wagner. Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1922. He served in the Signal Corps for 3 Pacific Campaigns and Japan during World War II. Bob came to Albuquerque in 1958 as a sales engineer with Joslyn Manufacturing Company with his wife and baby daughter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to Post 49 American Legion Scholarship Fund, 11007 Central Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123. Memorial Service, Wednesday, August 26th, 10:30 a.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Interment, 3:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the Post 49 Honor Guard. Direct Services, 4501 4th St. NW. 343-8008.
