Obituary for Way

Clifford M. Way, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, passed away on Friday, August 14, 1998. Clifford was born April 7, 1903, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Way in Larnard, Kansas. Clifford came to New Mexico from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He retired from the Carey Salt Co. in Kansas. Cliff organized a group of golf buddies at the Paradise Hills Golf Club calling themselves the"Golf Gaggle". Cliff started this group in 1976 and it is still going strong. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 1980. He is survived by his nephew, William Way and his wife, Yvonne of Ft. Worth, TX; grandnephew, Wade A. Way of Corpus Christi, TX; great-niece, Susan Guin of Burleson, TX, Jim and Marjorie Kannolt of Albuquerque and their four children; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 1998, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., with the Rev. Kay Huggins officiating. Burial will take place in Hutchinson, Kansas. The family requests that memorials be given to their favorite charity. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
