Ruth Satala Day, 68, passed away August 14, 1998. Born on the Hopi Reservation and a member of M.O.P.H. Womens Auxiliary, and active in the Native American Community. She is survived by her husband, Paul Day; sons, Michael Day and Chalmers Day; daughters, Brenda Shanta, Julia Buckman and husband, Raymond, and Laura Day; 19 grandchildren; two brothers; one sisters; and numerous family and friends who will miss her. Services will be held at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 1998. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
