Obituary for Davenport

Mrs. Priscilla Marie Davenport, 63, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on August 14, 1998. Mrs. Davenport was the beloved wife of 45 years to Mr. Billy J. Davenport. She is also survived by her loving children, Ricky Joe Davenport, Tanya Marie Moraga, Franklin Paul Davenport and wife, Carrie, Veronica Lynn Gonzales and husband, Robert, Rebecca Joe Candelaria and husband, Adam, Jacquita Ann Baca, Christopher Martin Davenport and Kris Michelle Davenport. She is also survived by three sisters, Margaret Trujillo and husband, Amador, Vera Gunter, Gloria Montoya; three brothers, Rumolo Martinez and wife, Madaline, Max Martinez and wife, Dolores and Fred Martinez and wife, Joann; 25 grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Davenport. Mrs. Davenport was a member of the Catholic Church. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Gloria Montoya and Margaret Trujillo will recite the Rosary. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with Father Jack, Celebrant. The family will be receiving family and friends after 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
