Mr. Raymond Martinez Jr. died Monday, September 7, 1998 in Albuquerque at the age of 64. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Della Martinez; sons, Raymond Martinez III and wife, Yolanda, and Christopher Martinez and friend, Jerome Chavez; daughters, Debi Martinez, Gloria Louise Martinez, Cynthia Gurule and husband, Mike, and Connie Guerin and husband, Zachary; brothers Onofre Martinez of Texas, Ascencion Martinez and wife, Viola of Boise, Idaho, and Ted Martinez of Tucson, Arizona; sisters, Mary Gonzalez and husband, Adolfo of El Paso, Texas, Priscilla McBroom and husband, Jim, Virginia Tomaszewski and husband, Raymond of Las Vegas, NV, and Theresa Chavez and husband, Robert of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Crystal Romero, Tiffany Gallegos, and Raymond Martinez IV; mother-in-law, Mela Ramirez-Beserra; and numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Funeral Services for Mr. Martinez will be held on Friday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adolfo Gonzalez, Jim McBroom, Jerome Chavez, Billy Hanna, Conrad Romero and Rudy Ramirez. Visitation for Mr. Martinez will be held in the Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A Rosary for Mr. Martinez will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Church.
