Obituary for Lujan

Margaret Lujan, 81, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother was called home to be with the Lord Monday, September 7, 1998. She was a resident of Albuquerque; born on April 8, 1917 in Socorro, NM to Ignacio and Andreaita Torres; a parishioner of San Jose Mission in Los Duranes. She is survived by five sons, Tony and wife, Mary Ann of San Francisco, CA, Pablo and wife, Theresa of San Antonio, TX, James of Albuquerque, Edward and wife, Linda of Los Angeles, CA, Ralph and wife, Rose of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those whom knew and loved her. Visitations will be held today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Mission in Los Duranes. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her sons, Tony, Pablo, James, Edward and Ralph; her nephew Valentino Torres. For floral assistance, please call 243-5222.
