Mary E. Ballew, 75, died Sunday, September 6, 1997. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Noble Ballew, of Albuquerque; sons, Ken N. Ballew and wife, Jennifer, of Albuquerque, Ron Ballew and wife, Karol, of Capetown, South Africa; daughter, Janet Ely and husband, Glenn, of San Jose, CA; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Lee Woods and wife, Velma of Great Falls, Montana; sisters, Helen Olson of Stayton, OR, and Margaret Sovenski of Salem, OR; and many other family and friends. Private graveside services will be held with Reverend Tommy Crider Officiating. Pallbearers will be Ken Ballew, Courtney Ballew, Blake Ballew, Glenn Ely, Chris Ely, and Steve Bartz. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE.
