Helen Ann Pate, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died Thursday, September 3, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Jack Q. Pate of Albuquerque; daughters; Carolyn Smith and husband, Clark of Clovis and Jacqueline Valencia Gray of Denver; son, John Quinn Pate of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Charlotte Points, Chad Smith, Sean Strickland, Kelley Bond and Jack W. Wilke; and seven great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Father Vidal Martinez, Celebrant. Interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
