Richard E. Baldonado, passed away August 30, 1998. He was a native New Mexican and a member of the American Legion Post 13. Mr. Baldonado served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He is survived by his children, Theresa Blackwood, Diamond Chavez, Tina Baldonado, and Troy Baldonado and wife, Donna; mother, Claire Blackwood; brother, Bob Blackwood; sister, Cindy Blackwood; very special aunts, Eleanor Baca, Trinie Sanchez, and Fina Chavez; uncle, Louie Baldonado; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and numerous family and friends who will miss him. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 1998, and Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 1998. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Giraudo, Louie Baldonado, Bob Blackwood, Frank Chavez, Lawrence Segura, and Steve Giraudo. Honorary pallbearers: Thomas Santiallnes, Mario Giraudo, Bibb Odell, and Stan Lovato. Arrangements by Direct Services, 4501 4th St. NW. 343-8008.
