Ross J. Sanchez, 81, a life resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully May 19, 1998. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Sally; two sons, Larry and Danny; two grandsons, James and Jonathan Sanchez; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Sanchez taught school for 20 years in the Albuquerque School System and four years of teaching for the BIA. He served in the U.S. Army from January 9, 1941 to March 21, 1946. He served in different theaters of war including in serving in General Patton's Regement and wounded in the battle of the bulge receiving the Purple Heart. Memorial services will be held at the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church on Friday, May 22, 1998 10:00 a.m. 2201 Estancia Dr NW.
