Obituary for Hooper

Nurma Jean Hooper, 57, a resident of Albuquerque for ten years, died May 19, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hooper of Albuquerque; sons, Paul Anderson and wife, Rita of Canton, MI, Mark Anderson of Howard City, MI, and Glen Anderson of Albuquerque; daughter, Cristen Mouro and husband, Kevin of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren; three brothers, Chester Strunk of Pearland, TX, Milburn Strunk of Phoenix, AZ, and Warner Strunk of Boise, ID; and sister, Thelma Randall and husband, Bud of Benton Harbor, MI. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly; and brother, Glen. Her life priorities were her faith in an eternal life through Jesus Christ and her pride and joy in raising her four children. She was a volunteer worker in several hospitals, civic groups, taught in Sunday Schools, and directed choir in Christ Lutheran, all in Michigan. In Albuquerque she volunteered in The Storehouse, Friends of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, and Widowed Persons Service. Mrs. Hooper owned and operated Sundancer Tours, Inc. with her husband, Wayne. Memorial services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
