Juan J. Lucero, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, May 21, 1998. He was born January 27, 1925 in Socorro, NM, to Juan and Senovia Lucero. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Raymond Lucero. He is survived by his loving wife, Regina of the family home; daughters, Bernice Lucero, Virignia, Frances; sons, David, Joseph, Andrew, Ray, John; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, May 26, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 27, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casketbearers will be David Lucero, Andrew Lucero, Joseph Lucero, Ray Lucero, Hank Cadena, and Mike Dushi. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Society, 1330 San Pedro Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
