Obituary for Kaberlein

Lucy L. Kaberlein, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Thursday, May 21, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Kaberlein of Kansas City, MO; sons, Mark Kaberlein and wife, Colleen of Albuquerque, and Joseph Kaberlein and wife, Kimberly of Moriarty; grandsons, Kabe Moen of Kansas City, MO and Zachary Kaberlein and Alexander Kaberlein, both of Albuquerque, and Joseph Wallace (J.W.) Kaberlein of Moriarty; and numerous brothers, sisters, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Joseph Kaberlein in 1989; and son, Dennis Kaberlein in 1985. Mrs. Kaberlein retired as a registered nurse from the VA Hospital. She was a loving mother, caring grandmother. Mrs. Kaberlein had many dear friends. She was an active member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church for over 30 years, volunteering her time after her retirement to the church activities. She volunteered many hours to Bear Canyon Senior Citizens Center. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Sister Beatrice Hundt reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cletus Cailteux, Helen Madrid, Kabe Moen, Kevin Carlson, Joe Truesdale, Howard Woods; Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Rieckmann, Dennis Woods, and Bob Woods. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd. NE 87110. Viewing will be held Monday, from 5:30 p.m. until the Rosary at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
