Obituary for Zamora

Mike M. Zamora, 90, beloved husband, father, grandfathers and brother, was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 12, 1998. He was born on July 8, 1908 in San Ignacio, NM. He was a resident of Albuquerque. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Magdalena Zamora of the family home; his son, Wil Lucero and wife Judy, of Manteca, CA; two grandsons, Justin Lucero and Gabriel Lucero; two sisters, Dulcinea De Luna of Long Beach, CA, Eugenia Martinez of El Paso, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th Street and Stover, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of The Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., SW. .DMP
