Obituary for Montano

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday November 06, 1998

IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR BELOVED GRANDPA JUAN H. MONTANO April 15, 1914 to November 6, 1997A year has passed without you here, But not a day has passed that you have not been thought of. Your sudden departure remains unclear. But we know you are watching from high above. You are probably laughing or telling a story, With our dear smiling Grandma at your side. Safe in the hands of God and all His glory, Content and free of pain, looking down on us with pride. We never had the chance to say our goodbyes, And you left a Little Cowboy who will never know you. The thought of that brings tears to our eyes. For we know your prayers are what pulled him through.Even after a year, it is hard to let you go, You are missed with every passing day. We hope you knew that we loved you so, It was something we never had the chance to say.Stay out of mischief up there, Grandpa"One", You will forever be in our hearts. Go rest high on that mountain, your work here is done. Till the day comes when we will no longer be apart.WE LOVE YOU! Sandra, Randy, Ashley, Jonathan, Zachary, and your Little Cowboy, Tyler.
