Obituary for Procter

John"Jack" E. Procter, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on October 23, 1998, after a courageous but short battle with cancer. Born April 13, 1925, in New York City, he retired from US West in 1982 after 36 years of service. A World War II Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Del Norte Gun Club, the Gun Collector's Association and the Telephone Pioneers. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Valentine; and daughters, Kathleen Lowe and husband, Richard; Denise Politano and husband, Louis, Dorothy Leake and husband, Terry, and Lisa King; as well as a son, William and wife, Joyce. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald Neidigk officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Presbyterian Hospice for their kindness and assistance.
