Phyllis E. Janus, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, died Thursday, October 22, 1998. She is survived by her loving children, Judith A. Korus of Albuquerque, Thomas G. Janus and wife, Marilyn of Hagerstown, MD, and Michael J. Janus and wife, Nona of San Diego, CA; loving grandchildren, Julie, Jamie, Jeannie, Bryant, Erik, Vanessa, Mark Jonathan Hall, and David; loving great-grandchildren, Jacqueline and Tatum; loving sisters, Anne Cukierski, Dorothy Lewandowski, and Barbara Habig; and loving brothers, Frank Cukierski and Joseph Cukierski. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester L. Janus and by her loving daughter, Sandra Lee Condrey. Mrs. Janus was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel, 1111 University Blvd, NE, with Judith A. Korus reciting. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1818 Coal Place SE, with Father Bob Chabot Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to time of Rosary.
