Gordon Thomas Glover, born in Salina, Kansas March 4, 1916, died October 23, 1998, in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann Glover; son, Tom Glover and wife, Mary; daughter, Pat Glover; and 2 granddaughters, Trisha and Carrie. Gordon received a BS and MS in metallurgical engineering at the University of Alabama. He built and operated flotation mills in Southwestern New Mexico before his retirement in 1981. During his lifetime he was very active in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held in Albuquerque on Thursday, October 29, at 3:00 p.m. at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd NE, with Rev. Fred Dorisse and Rev. Glenn Ricketts officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Gordon's name to Monte Vista Christian Church, or your favorite charity.
