Ruben Griego, 55, a lifelong resident of Tijeras, NM died on Sunday, September 20, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Betty Griego of the family home; children, Sandra Lovato and husband, Anthony of Albuquerque, John Griego and wife, Sherry, Elaine Abeyta and Andrew Driggers, and Manuel Griego and wife, Yvonne all of Tijeras, NM; grandchildren, Angelo Lovato, Tommy Hohmann, Tara Lovato, Grady Griego, Christopher Griego, Vincent Griego, Alex Griego, Manuel Jacob Griego and Samantha Griego; and sisters, Angelina Gonzales, Margaret Francia and Corina Chavez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Merced Griego. Mr. Griego loved the outdoors expecially hunting and fishing. He was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church. He was a fun loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all especially for his sense of humor. Mass will be celebrated today at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Child Catholic Church, Tijeras, NM with Father John Carney celebrant. Interment will follow at Juan Tomas Cemetery, Tijeras. Pallbearers will be Jon McGill, Anthony Lovato, Angelo Lovato, Grady Griego, Tommy Hohmann and Andrew Driggers. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE.
