Maxine Atkisson, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, September 19, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth, of the family home; daughters, Kendra Longfellow of Albuquerque and Gayle Salyer and husband, Bob of Ames, IA; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Atkisson loved her volunteer work with Presbyterian Hospital where she logged several thousand hours. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Reception will be held Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. at Montebello, 10500 Academy Rd, NE. Private Interment will take place at a later time. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd, NE.
