Clarence E. LeGendre, 76, died March 28, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sofie LeGendre of Albuquerque; daughters, Gisela Noddin and husband, Chuck of New Hampshire, Renate Magee of New Hampshire, and Regina Circeo and husband, Bob of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends. Mr. LeGendre served over 30 years in the U.S. Air Force and he served during World War II and in Vietnam, before retiring in 1973 as a Master Sargent. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Rev. Robert Circeo officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Circeo, Michael Circeo, Kenneth Circeo, and Richard Circeo. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
