Obituary for Anderson

Paul F. Anderson, 81, died at his Albuquerque home, Monday, March 30, 1998. He is survived by his wife of ten years, Genine Michael Anderson of Albuquerque; daughters, Julie B. Thelen and husband, John of Alameda, CA and Betty (B¥to) J. Carlson and husband, Randy of White Rock, NM; grandchildren, Paul T. Thelen and Bret-Leigh Thelen of Alameda, CA and Kimberly Carlson and husband, Peter Espericueta of Albuquerque; and great-grandson, Victor Paul. Born in New Castle, IN, Paul came to Albuquerque with his mother in 1924. He graduated from Belen High School in 1933 and attended New Mexico State University for two years. Paul graduated from the University of Idaho in 1938, and married Olga Greene of Boise, ID that same year. They lived in Boise and Seattle until moving to Albuquerque in 1950. Olga died in 1969. After working 33 years with the Federal Aviation Administration, Mr. Anderson retired from the Air Traffic Control Center in Albuquerque in 1974. His lingering death was caused by 40 years of smoking. Cremation has taken place and per his wishes, services will be private.
