Obituary for Garcia

Mr. Juan S. Garcia, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, June 14, 1998. Mr. Garcia is the beloved husband of 46 years to Mrs. Elvira Garcia. He is also survived by two daughters, Elizabeth McGee and Karen Padilla and husband Zoilo; one son, John Garcia and wife, Mary Lou; sister, Lucy Hamilton and husband, Ira; Brothers, Ralph Garcia, Pete Garcia and wife, Lucille and Gilbert Garcia and wife, Mary Ann; grandchildren, Vincent, Jason and wife, Debbie, Johnnie and Andrew and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by a son, Pres Garcia, 1973. Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW with visitation after 6:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with final viewing at the church from 10:30 until 11:00. Father Joel Garner, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Time to be announced. Pallbearers will be Jason Garcia, Vincent Garcia, Johnnie Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Aurelio Vigil and Fernando Sena. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
