Jean Koerner, 69, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past ten years, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 1998. Jean was born September 29, 1928, the daughter of Pasquale and Concetta Cippoletti in Brooklyn, NY. Jean was an Auxiliary Legionnaire of the American Legion. Jean is survived by her husband, John, of Rio Rancho; son, John Koerner of Rio Rancho; three grandchildren, Amy, Jason and Julie Koerner. Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 1998 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Mortuary on Sunday, June 14, 1998. The Mass of Resurrection will be Monday, June 15, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Msgr. Douglas Raun as the Celebrants. Entombment will follow in the Floral Gardens Mausoleum at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
