Marie Louise Gardiner, 72, beloved wife of 55 years to Paul E. Gardiner, Colonel U.S.A.F. (Ret.), died suddenly on Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Mark, Gary and Andrea Gardiner of Albuquerque, and Rande and wife, Judy; grandchildren, Kimberly and Christopher Gardiner of Bakersfield, CA; sister, Celeste Cernik and husband, Ron of Houston, TX; brother, Steve Kroger of Baton Rouge, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her loving friends knew her as a loving companion who made flowers bloom and relationships last. Mrs. Gardiner was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lessie Kroger; and brother, Jack of Baton Rouge, LA. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 20, 1998, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
