Kenneth L. McKown, age 73, a resident here since 1949, passed away Sunday in a local hospital. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vincent McKown; son, Randal McKown; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Belanager; and granddaughter, Allie McKown; brothers, Omer McKown, Tommy McKown, Buck McKown. Mr. McKown was a disabled Army Veteran of World War II and was retired from the Internal Revenue Service. A Memorial service will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, in the Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE.
