Mrs. Maria Carmen Ramirez de Proa, 67, a resident of Albuquerque and formally of Mexico passed away on December 2, 1998. Mrs. Ramirez de Proa is survived by her husband of 48 years to Roberto Proa. She is also survived by one daughter, Martha Almodavar and husband, Fernando; two sons, Roberto Proa and wife, Leticia and Gorge Proa and wife, Lorena; one sister, Irene Ramirez de Hernandez and husband, Antonio; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of the Catholic church. Visitation will be Friday evening at 5:30 with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9:30 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway S.E. with visitation after 9:00. Father Albert, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roberto Broa, Jorge Broa, Salvador Delgado, Cesar Sierra, Charlie Proa and Jose Delgado, Jr. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
