E. Beatrice Russell, 93, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 2, 1998. She was born in Iron Mountain, MI, and had been a resident of Albuquerque for 66 years."Aunt Bea" was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Russell. She is survived by her sister, Lena Mercer; sister-in-law, Olivia Minucci; niece, Dorothy Eddleman and husband, Rueben; nephews, Allen Mercer and wife, Helen, Harold Mercer and wife, Donna, all of Albuquerque; nieces, Mary McClure of Oracle, AZ, Helen Peters and husband, John of Scottsdale, AZ and Gayla King of Redlands, CA; great nieces, Vickie Merrill and husband, Russ, Carol Hahn and husband, George, Carla Mercer and husband Michael, Lynn Mercer, Phyllis Fetherolf and husband, Ken and Janice Beyer and husband, Michael; great nephews, Lloyd Mercer and wife, Jean, Harold Mercer and wife, Donna, John Mercer and wife, Sherry and Jerry Mercer and fiancee, Mary. She is also survived by many other great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. Aunt Bea had been a resident of Grant Court for six years and leaves many friends there. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Winfred Walker and Father Joseph Vigil officiating.
