Obituary for Romero

Epimenia (Pimmie) Romero, 62, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died Tuesday, December 1, 1998 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Eliseo Romero; children, Michael H. Romero and wife, Allene, Leroy Romero, Ronald Romero and wife, Bert and Theresa Lovato; grandchildren, Michael R. and Leon Romero, Caroline Apodaca, Denise and Jerome Lovato, Mathew, Adrian, Aaron and Christopher Romero; great-grandchildren, Crystal, Brandie, Ashley and Tiffany Apodaca, Denae Benavidez and Alicia Romero; and brothers and sisters, Delcie Montoya and husband, Manuel, Jose Leandro Padilla and wife, Rebecca, Rose Lucero and husband, Cloroveo, Nancy Herrera and husband, Don, Esequiel Padilla and wife, Agnes, Carlos Padilla and wife, Mary and Lena Lucero and husband, Orlando. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esequiel and Adela Padilla. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend and will be dearly missed by those who enjoyed her company and cooking. Epimenia was a member of the Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 4th and Alameda. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 1:30 p.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael R. Romero, Leon Romero, Jerome Lovato, Mathew Romero, Adrian Romero and Aaron Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Carolina Apodaca, Denise Lovato, Christopher Romero. A very special thank you for all your help to Nancy Herrera, Lena Lucero and Presbyterian Hospice. Family and friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
