Obituary for Johnson

Wesley A. Johnson was born June 12, 1925 at Waverly, Illinois, and was 73 years old. He moved to Albuquerque in 1950. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Billie; four children, Carol Phillips and husband, Robert, Donald Johnson and wife, Debbie, both of Los Chavez, Claudia Lokinski and William Johnson, both of Albuquerque; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Johnson and wife, Lela of Belen; and a sister, Katherine of San Diego. He is a retired Sandia Labs receiving supervisor, and served with the 3rd Marine Division in the Pacific during World War 2 and in the Korean War. He is a founding member of the New Mexico Gun Collectors Association, and served in the 1950's with the Bernalillo County Citizen's Unit. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sunrise Society (891-8200). No services are planned. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven mausoleum.
