Mr. Joe Ralph Garcia died Sunday in Albuquerque at the age of 62. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his son, Joe Ralph Garcia, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Betty Garcia; son, Paul Sanchez; daughters, Georgia Contreras and Katherine Garcia-Renick; six brothers; one sister; and grandchildren, Desiree Contreras, Denise Contreras and Freddie Contreras. Funeral services for Mr. Garcia will be held on Friday at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddie Contreras, Fred Contreras, Ty Renick, Roberto Medina, Felix Tafoya and Desiree Contreras. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Sanchez and Denise Contreras. A Rosary for Mr. Garcia will be recited on Thursday evening, 7:30 p.m., at the St. Charles Church. Arrangements by the Salazar and sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW.
