Bertrice L. Gage (Bert) passed away December 15, 1999 at Four Corners Good Samaritan Center. Bert was born in Harviell, Missouri, August 20, 1906. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Gage Sr. in December, 1993. Bert and Charlie came to Gallup in 1929. They had rental properties there for over 60 years and operated Hedges Service Station on West 66 for over 20 years. She is survived by her son, Charles C. Gage Jr. of Albuquerque; daughter, Jean Donohue Reed and husband, William (Bill) Reed of Farmington; three sisters; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be laid to rest in Gallup with Charlie, her husband of 69 years.
