Obituary for Hrubienski

Luciana (Lucy) Hrubienski, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 21, 1999. Mrs. Hrubienski was born in Cubero, NM to the late Estanislado and Geralda Sanchez; she was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, who loved her church very much; Lucy was a loving and caring person to her family and friends, and always visiting and praying for the sick. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Coleman; and a grandson, Ray Victor Coleman. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Edward Hrubienski of the family home; her children, Frances Hrubienski, Abie Hrubienski, Patrick Hrubienski and wife, Rose, Steven Hrubienski, Danny Hrubienski, all of Albuquerque, Rick Hrubienski and wife, Ruby of Mesa, AZ, Edward Hrubienski and wife, Christina of Port Orchard, WA; granddaughter, Michelle Hrubienski; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Rose Raimondi and husband, John of Albuquerque, Charlotte Gonzales of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, James Sanchez and wife, Becky of Ignacio, CO and Alfred Sanchez of Mesa, AZ. Lucy will be greatly missed by her loving family and all those who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 8:30 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 12:00 p.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Casket bearers will be Anthony Gonzales, Alfred Sanchez, Ricky Hrubienski, Randy Hrubienski, Christopher Hrubienski and Johnny Raimondi. Honorary bearers will be Antonio Hrubienski, Clemente Aragon and Tony Aragon. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW, 243-5222.
