Mrs. Cecilia Griego, 59, a resident of Mora, New Mexico, passed away on December 18, 1999. The angels guided her peacefully to heaven on Saturday morning. Mrs. Griego was a loving wife, mom, sister, nana, grandma, aunt and friend. She touched many hearts. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert R. Griego; her children, Bobby and Debbie Griego, Kathy and Ernest Prando, James and Christine Griego, Gina Griego, Renee Trado, Nestor and Mary Griego, Joseph and Annette Griego, Roberta Griego; grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, Robin, Robert, James, Crystal, Deborah, Valerie, Jenais, Ameshia, David, Bobby Jr., Daniel, Greg, Stephanie, Joel, Blanca, Veronica, Junior and Adrian; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Tyler and Angelo; her sister, Mary and Armond Garza. Mrs. Griego was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Griego; and grandson, Eric Gallegos. Cecilia had many other friends and family members. She was known for her silly antics and her loving heart. She will be greatly missed by people everywhere. Cecilia was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Clairmont NE, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Virginia and Mac Campbell, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 12:00 noon, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, with final viewing at the church after 11:30 a.m. Father Plans, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Griego, James Griego, Ralph Lucero, Patrick Barela, Herman Griego and Abbey Griego. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
