Ruth Bibb-Maher, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, December 21, 1999. She is survived by her half-brother, David T. Bibb and wife, Mary Kay of Las Vegas, NM; half-sister, Betty Moxey and husband, Fred of Albuquerque; second cousin, Ellen Marie Gentry and husband, John of Red Bluff, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; Goddaughter, Dana Lucero; and good friends, Liz Wingfield, Steve Hamblin, John Azar and Chuck Williams. Mrs. Maher was preceded in death by her husband, John Maher; sister, Myrtle B. Reynolds; mother, Rosalie Tyson; and father, Dee Bibb. She was descended from a longtime ranching family from Las Vegas, New Mexico. Mrs. Maher worked for many years for the Fred Harvey Co. in Las Vegas and Albuquerque. She also worked in the oil and gas industry and recently retired after 32 years as an office manager at Charles Williams Corp. Realtors in Albuquerque. Services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Dr. Ron McConnell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
