Obituary for Dominguez

Ignacita"Chana" Dominguez, 85, passed away Wednesday morning in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Casimiro Dominguez and a son, Herman Dominguez. She is survived by six daughters, Gladys Gonzales of Albuquerque, Ethel Lucero and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque, Neyda (Nadine) Griego and husband, Romeo of Bernalillo, Patsy Martinez of Santa Fe, Duvie Archuleta and husband, Ruben of Santa Fe, and Leora Padilla and husband, Robert of Albuquerque. Also surviving are four sons, Preslee Dominguez and wife, Dora of Bernalillo, David Dominguez and wife, Angie of Espanola, Gilbert Dominguez and wife, Lilly of Cuba, NM, and Casey Dominguez Jr. of Cuba, NM; and 35 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilt making. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. A Rosary will be recited tonight, 5:30 p.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. The active pallbearers will be Raymond Lucero Jr., Richard Martinez, Ruben Archuleta Jr., Victor G. Martinez, Gilbert Dominguez Jr., and Casey Dominguez Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Lovato, Carlos Griego, Waldo Trujillo, and David Lovato. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. NW, Norbert"Ray" Baldonado Jr.
